ASAL unite ties with APACS & IACS in Japan
BARCELONA, Spain (August 2005): In a new positive move to introduce Lipodissolve to medical professionals from the Asia-Pacific region, ASAL have joined co-sponsor efforts with the International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and Asian Pacific Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
The American Society of Aesthetic Lipodissolve (ASAL) has been invited to hold the first official presentation on Lipodissolve in Asia at the 2005 World Congress of Cosmetic Surgery in Tokyo, Japan on November 18 and 22.
ASAL's administration comments, "When we were approached by the IACS and APACS, we were positively interested and excited of the idea to have talented medical professionals in Asia-Pacific discover the positive addition Lipodissolve provides to the latest cosmetic procedures."
In an effort to collaborate with our colleagues in Asia, the International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (IACS) and Asian Pacific Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (APACS) under the leadership of Dr Tetsuo Shu, MD, PhD, has organized the first Lipodissolve congress workshop on Lipodissolve outside the United States. ASAL says, "Our members from the Asian regions have shown to achieve excellent esthetic treatment results with Lipodissolve. Their high skills and keen interest in milder clinical cosmetic treatment methods for body countouring has emphasized our interest to establish an affiliation in a wonderful and dedicated country like Japan."
Dr Shu expresses, "It is our pleasure and honor that 25 societies of Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Oral Surgery, Antiaging Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine from the whole world have already supported our congress and encourage their members to contribute their specialties to this world meeting. We are sure that remarkable progress of aesthetic medicine will be achieved rapidly not only in European & American countries, but also countries in Asia & Pacific Rim through the mutual cooperation and contribution in different fields of aesthetic medicine. This is the goal of this World Congress 2005 in Tokyo."
"The examination for Board-Certified Surgeon of International Board of Cosmetic Surgery will also be held in Tokyo prior to this World Congress on November 15-17. We invite plastic surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists and doctors in these and other related fields of aesthetic medicine in whole world to apply for the Board-Certified Examination of International Board of Cosmetic Surgery."
Dr Shu concludes, "A one-day Workshop of Lipodissolve co-sponsored by the American Society of Aesthetic Lipodissolve will be held on November 20, 2005. This is the first workshop on Lipodissolve in Asia, introducing a new field of non-surgical lipoplasty."
