"Try this for thighs: could you banish cellulite? Six REAL women test the latest..."

DAILY MAIL, Great Britain (June 2005) - The Sun is shining, hemlines are rising and the holiday season is about to begin. And, inevitably, millions of women are starting to worry about their cellulite. The Orange peel effect on thighs and bottom is the scourge of summer for many women, but there are ways to get rid of it. MANDY FRANCIS and CORRINE JACKSON reports...

The challenge to test the latest therapies and trens to battle cellulite was done by one of UK's leading newspapers, Daily Mail, who asked six women to try and compared everything from laser, vibrotone, creams to natural cellulite regimes of the stars and Lipodissolve injections. Of all options they tried, Lipodissolve received the highest score. This is the comments from one of the volunteers:

INJECTION
Lipodissolve injections are a relatively new treatment made from an extract of soya beans and a mixture of medications designed to break down fat so that it is expelled naturally from the body.

Julie Johnson, 28, is a secretary. She is single and lives in Chiswick, West London. She says:
"I excercise for half and hour at least three times a week, but my cellulite won't budge. I eat and drink far too much - my body certainly isn't my temple - but I've done as much as I can.
I was worried about Lipodissolve because I'm terrified of needles, but the surgeon made me feel at ease - he is so confident about the procedure that he even injects it in his own face.
I had three treatments, a month apart, each comprising of 40 to 60 injections that break down fat cells permanently.
The downside is that it's very painful and the swelling was particularly nasty - I could barely sit down for the first 24 hours.
But I am thrilled with the results. My cellulite has virtually disappeared and my stretch marks have gone. I swear my bottom has been lifted.
What's more the results are permanent. I'm now considering having my inner thighs treated. I was a non-believer in cosmetic surgery, but am converted."

Lipodissolve, a combination of micro-injections for the reduction of localized fat, skin retraction and cellulite treatment.

Yon-Ka anti-cellulite programme
, popular with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Catherine Zeta Jones and even Tom Cruise, Yon-Ka products are based on plant oils, marine extracts, vitamins and fruit acids.

Chocotherapy
, involves a choloate mixture rich in minerals pasted on to troublesome areas.

Vibrotone
, is a new treatment from Dr Elisabeth Dancey. It works with cycloid vibration, which is also used in hospitals to treat poor lympathic drainage and poor circulation. Vibrotone helps to drain excess fluid and toxins, and boosts blood flow in cellulite ridden areas.

Tri-Active Laser is a handheld massager that emits laser energy that stimulates fat cells to release toxins and tighten skin. Its massaging action also stimulates circulation and lymph flow.
