The ASAL LIPODISSOLVE™ protocol was developed by ASAL founders in collaboration with medical consultants. Lipodissolve was developed with the aim to offer a standardized nonsurgical and mild medical procedure for fat lysis and skin retraction. ASAL is working in collaboration with pharmacies to assure that only government regulated products are used in Lipodissolve by physicians in the United States. ASAL Lipodissolve injections consist of micro-injections with a standardized hypotonic cocktail consisting of non-toxic pharmaceutical agents to mobilize and dissolve fat. Although users report mild side effects and safety data has been only positive on thousands of treatments, long-term studies are lacking.
